Every surfer’s dream - a boat trip in the Mentawai islands - just got better with Sibon Jaya, a 70 feet Aluminum Power Catamaran built in 2015 especially for boat trips in Indonesia. The boat was designed by Australian legend Robert Wilson, who when for the first time to Indonesia in 1974. As his seventh boat, Robert brought to Sibon Jaya all the experience he had on the last decades, combining speed, stability, smooth sailing and unparalleled comfort and luxury amenities configured to provide the finest surf experience anyone could expect in the Mentawai islands
Built with large windows throughout the boat, it offers spectacular views from all angles in the living room. Overall, the boat is roomy, comfortable, and enjoyable across all areas. Loaded with cutting-edge lightweight eco-efficient motors, the Sibon Jaya cruises at speeds of up to 13 knots producing virtually no smoke. Indoor spaces are air-conditioned, there are tinted glasses, shades, and thermal insulation throughout the boat. An entertainment sound system, 42' LCD TV, and DVD player, as well as fans and Watermaker / Desalinator, are also available.
The rooms provide comfy beds, luxury bed linens, reading lights, and 220V power outlets. Bathrooms have a hot shower and bidet toilet seats. Blackout and mosquito nets on all Hatches and the suites' doors and walls are sound insulated.
Rear upper deck displays a spacious area with many sofas and lots of room to entertain, enjoy a cold beverage, or lay down while watching perfect waves and magnificent colorful Sunsets unique to the Mentawai Islands. The ample submersible swim platform affords easy access to the water for leisure activities and connects life on board with the sea. PDG - Padang International Airport.
PDG has flight to/from CGK - Jakarta (Lion Air, Batik Air, Sriwijaya Air and Citylink) and KUL - Kuala Lumpur (Air Asia).
From Airport: PDG = 20 minutes drive to Sibon Charter’s office in Padang (Sumatra), then when everyone is together, they’ll drive another 15 or 45 minutes depending on which harbor the boat will leave from (depending on tide).
IMPORTANT: Your flight to Padang must arrive no later than 03:00 pm of the first day of the boat trip and you must fly out of Padang not earlier than 01:00 pm of the last day of the boat trip.

Tips for the crew.
The cooks at Sibon Jaya are fantastic and will be working 24/7 to satisfy your desires, expect fresh fish, lobster, squids, lamb and vegetables as well as fruits and made-to-order breakfasts.
Breakfast: your choice of eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, selection of breads, cakes,cheeses, cereals, coffee, juices and what else you desire, as much as you want.
Lunch: Healthy and nutritious meals, chef's choice. This meal is usually a light and healthy meal, for a special reason: we don't want our guests without energy for the afternoon's surf session.For that reason, it's important to eat easy-to-digest meals.
Dinner: After an intense and perfect surf day, our chef will make a big, delicious and well elaborated meal, with many option of protein, carbs, salads, fresh vegetables, all made with selected and high quality ingredients.
Photos and Videos: Sibon Jaya offers a photographer onboard, if guests desire photos and videos to be taken, they will arrange directly with the photographer upon boarding. Price is USD 300/person. Do not forget to bring your own pen drive (at least 8GB).
